Nuclear Distortion This is one of the more chilled out albums in my collection. It has a nice clarity with slightly dark yet beautiful melodies taking turns on different instruments with drum work that comes in and out as an active instrument that gives the album depth. It is a nice mellow progressive rock album that really does remind me of Camel's music. A nice soundtrack to the unfolding spring season. Favorite track: Act 1-1: Fool's Observations.

about

Once upon a time there was a music called "Progrock" made by bands that were called Genesis, King Crimson, Barclay James Harvest, Yes or Camel. A few years later there was a 15 year old fool that got lost in albums like "Foxtrott", "Fragile" and especially "Mirage" and "The Snow Goose". He started to make music. One day, he said, I'm going to make an album like that. A concept album, istrumental, full of Mellotrons, Organs, Synths, weird VCSS3 sounds and great melodies.

A lot of time passed, and years later the iPad gave the fool the possibillity to use all those sounds he loved. And he thought: "One day is today...time to tell "The Fool's Tale"!"

However, this wouldn't have been possible without the brilliant talents of the fool's friends, Guy Beeri Mauseth and Colin Powell. Thanks a lot, mates. I love you!

Big thanks also to Clif Johnston who did the cover and is simply awesome.
